You should never have to wonder how your dog is doing.
You're trusting us with a member of your family. We don't take that lightly. We're not trying to be the cheapest, the biggest, or the loudest dog care in town. We're trying to be the place you feel good about leaving your dog. This page is how we hold ourselves to that.

The idea behind everything we do:
Your dog doesn't just stay here. They get better.
Make a real difference for dogs and the people who love them.
Our mission is simple to say and hard to do: make a positive difference in the lives of dogs and their owners. We work alongside you to help your dog live their best life. Every dog should leave a little better than they arrived, and every family should leave with peace of mind.
A lot of dog care is built around convenience. A place to park your dog for the day. We'd rather work toward something you can actually see: a calmer, happier, better-behaved dog. It's a harder standard. It's also the only one we think is worth it.
Our vision
Picture a world where dogs and their people get longer, healthier, happier lives together. That's what we're working toward. Our Guiding Values shape how we treat each other, and every dog, along the way.

Four values. Every dog, every day.
Compassion
We treat every co-worker, client, and canine like family. Everyone who walks in here, on two legs or four, should feel valued.
Safety
The health and well-being of our dogs and our staff come first. Safety is the first question behind every decision, so this is a secure, comfortable place to be.
Competence
Knowing what you're doing matters. Our team is committed to continuous learning, so we keep up with the best practices in dog care and training.
Helpfulness
Helping a teammate, or going the extra mile for a client: we're glad to do it. It keeps the whole place friendly and working together.
Six principles we run the place by.
These aren't slogans on a poster. We weigh new hires, changes to the building, and new services against them.
Expertise leads
Loving dogs is the starting point, not the whole job. Grooming is led by a Master Groomer, behavior by a Certified Animal Behaviorist, and nutrition by a co-owner Certified in Pet Nutrition.
Behavior is the foundation
Grooming, daycare, training, even teeth cleaning: we keep an eye on how your dog is feeling the whole time. The dog matters as much as the task.
Outcomes over optics
A clean lobby and a friendly hello are the basics. The real test is whether your dog goes home calmer, more confident, and better behaved.
Transparency by default
Clients can watch daycare and boarding on our webcams, and we give honest answers to hard questions. The webcams aren't an upsell. They come standard.
Whole-dog wellness
Behavior, food, grooming, exercise, rest, and vet care all affect each other. Penny's behavior expertise and David's nutrition training work together for every dog.
Quality over volume
We keep daycare at 15 dogs per staff member or fewer. We'd rather do fewer things well than water down the standard to grow.
Three things we promise you, and hold ourselves to.
If any of these are ever in question, call us. We'll make it right.
A calmer, happier dog
That's what every visit is working toward. If something seems off after a day with us, tell us and we'll talk it through with you.
You'll know what happened
Check in on the webcams anytime, and we'll give you an honest update if anything was off. No surprises at pickup.
The expertise is real
Penny is a Master Groomer, Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), and Certified Animal Behaviorist, and our team is trained to her standards.
A mission is also about what you say no to.
You'll find these all over our industry. We don't do them, because they go against everything above.
Run "free-for-all" daycare
No all-day chaos where dogs run until they're frazzled. Play runs in rotating 15–20 minute sessions with rest periods, and dogs are grouped by size and temperament.
Stack-board dogs in cages
Private suites only, with proper beds, indoors and climate-controlled. Boarding the way it should be done, not the way that makes the most money.
Water down the standard to grow
No more than 15 dogs per staff member in daycare. That's a number we keep, not a marketing line.
Make claims we can't back up
If we say it on this website, we mean it. Ask us anything.
If you ever feel we've fallen short of what's on this page, tell us. The best way to keep a mission honest is clients who call us on it.
See it for yourself in three steps.
- 1
Create your account
Add your dog, upload shot records (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), and sign the waiver online.
- 2
Book a Visit
A full daycare day at the regular daycare rate. Drop off by 10:00 am and pick up after 3:00 pm while we get to know your dog.

Hold us to it
Peek in on the webcams, then see the difference at pickup: a tired, calm, happy dog.
Come visit. Hold us to it.
Words on a page are easy. A happy dog at pickup is the real proof. Book a visit, and see for yourself whether what's written here matches what we do. New clients get 10% off their first service. Call (760) 745-9900, or come in and see the place at 2750 Auto Park Way, Suite 22, Escondido.
