What Dr. Moston offers

Three services. One familiar place.

We get it. For a lot of dogs, the car ride to the vet is the worst part of the year. And for you, it's one more appointment to squeeze into a busy week. So we bring the vet to a building your dog already knows from daycare, boarding, or grooming.

Dental

Teeth cleaning

A gentle option for routine cleanings, done without general anesthesia. If Dr. Moston recommends light sedation, it's available.

Protection

Vaccinations

Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and more, given at her 5:00 pm clinic. An easy way to keep your dog's records current for daycare and boarding.

ID

Microchips

A microchip and its registration. A collar can slip off at the park. A chip stays with your dog, so a lost dog has a much better chance of getting home.

Teeth cleaning without general anesthesia

A gentle option for routine cleanings.

Dr. Moston cleans your dog's teeth while they're awake, here in a building they already know. Familiar people, familiar smells. Many dogs settle in well.

If she thinks your dog would be more comfortable with light sedation, she'll recommend it. Sedation is priced by weight, and the choice is always yours.

Some dogs need more than a routine cleaning. If Dr. Moston sees that your dog needs a full dental, she'll tell you plainly, so you can plan it with your regular vet.

Vaccinations and microchips

Keep records current without a second trip.

Rabies, DHPP (Distemper-Parvo), and Bordetella must be current and on file before your dog's first daycare or boarding visit. Instead of a separate trip across town, Dr. Moston can give these and other vaccines at her 5:00 pm clinic on vet days.

Vet day questions

Before you book.

How often is Dr. Moston here?

Every other Monday. When one lands on a day we're closed (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas), that vet day is skipped. Book online to see the next available dates.

Will my dog be sedated for teeth cleaning?

Most cleanings are done with your dog awake. If Dr. Moston thinks light sedation would help your dog, she'll recommend it, and you decide. Sedation is priced by weight.

Is teeth cleaning without anesthesia right for every dog?

It's a gentle option for routine cleanings. If your dog needs more, like treatment for a problem tooth, Dr. Moston will tell you so you can arrange a full dental with your regular vet.

Which vaccines does my dog need for daycare or boarding?

Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, current and on file before the first visit. You can upload records in your account, or have Dr. Moston vaccinate at her 5:00 pm clinic. See our policies for details.
