Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Hot Diggity Dog Resort website, online booking and client accounts, and all services we provide. Hot Diggity Dog Resort ("Hot Diggity," "we," "us") is owned by PUPPIES-DOT-COM, INC. By using our website or our services, you agree to these terms.

Your Account and Information

  • Please give us accurate, complete information about yourself and your pet, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your account login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us about any health, behavior, or medical needs your pet has before each visit.

Health, Vaccinations, and Eligibility

  • Pets must be in good health. Current Rabies, DHPP (distemper-parvo), and Bordetella vaccinations must be on file before the first visit and must stay current through the end of each stay.
  • Before daycare or boarding, each dog completes a Temperament Assessment: one full daycare day at the regular daycare rate. Drop-off is by 10:00 am and pickup no earlier than 3:00 pm. A new assessment is needed after six months away.
  • Dogs in daycare or boarding must be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age.
  • Our insurance does not allow bully breeds in daycare or boarding. Grooming and training are available for all breeds.
  • Dogs with a history of biting or aggression cannot attend daycare or boarding.
  • We may decline or end a visit if we believe it is not safe for your pet, other pets, or our staff.

Hours, Drop-Off, and Pickup

  • We are open Monday through Saturday, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Please arrive for pickup by 5:45 pm; we close at 6:00 pm.
  • Sundays and Holidays: boarding check-in and check-out only, by appointment at 10:00 am or 4:00 pm.
  • Boarding is charged in 24-hour periods from drop-off.
  • We have no staff on site overnight after closing. Webcams are not overnight supervision.

Bookings and Cancellations

  • Some bookings are confirmed right away and others are requests that we confirm. A request is not a confirmed booking until we confirm it.
  • Cancellations or changes need at least 48 hours' notice for boarding and 24 hours' notice for grooming and all other services. Holiday reservations may have a longer cancellation window.
  • Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged a fee.
  • Holidays: a holiday fee applies, and Thanksgiving and Christmas boarding stays require a minimum of 3 nights. See our Policies page for current holiday details.

Payment

  • Payment is due as shown when you book. Some reservations need a deposit to hold the spot. Any remaining balance is due at pickup.
  • Prices are listed on our website and may change. The price confirmed for your booking will be honored.
  • If we have to supply food because your pet's runs out, it is $3.00 per day per dog.

Refunds

  • If you cancel with enough notice (at least 48 hours for boarding, 24 hours for grooming and all other services), any payment for that service is refunded.
  • No refunds are given for late cancellations or missed appointments.
  • Daycare passes are nonrefundable and expire 90 days after purchase.

L.E.E.P. Monthly Membership (Automatic Renewal)

  • L.E.E.P. Monthly renews automatically every month until you cancel. Your card is charged the monthly price on the same date each month.
  • There is no minimum commitment. Cancel anytime online in your account, or by calling (760) 745-9900. Cancelling stops all future charges; the month already paid is not refunded.
  • We will send you a confirmation of your membership terms when you join, and a reminder of the terms once a year.

Care, Health, and Emergencies

  • Dogs at play can get minor injuries such as scratches, even with close supervision.
  • If your pet needs medical attention, we will try to reach you first. If we cannot, you authorize us to get care from a veterinarian, and you agree to pay for that care.
  • Our Waiver and Release of Liability, which you sign before your pet's first visit, is part of these terms.

Liability

We take every reasonable precaution to keep your pet safe. Hot Diggity Dog Resort is not liable for injuries or incidents that could not reasonably be foreseen, except where the law does not allow this limit. Your signed waiver describes the risks and responsibilities in more detail.

Webcams and Photos

  • Webcam access is for clients, is given at check-in, and is for personal viewing only.
  • Cameras show shared areas, so other clients may see your pet.
  • We may take photos of pets during their visit to share with you.

Text Message Terms

  • Program: Hot Diggity Dog Resort client texts: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, pickup notices, and replies to your messages.
  • You choose to get texts by checking the optional box on our Text Message Sign-Up form at the front desk, by texting JOIN to (760) 745-9900, or by checking the box when you create your account or in your account profile. It is never required to use our services.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP, or call (760) 745-9900, for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your number is never sold or shared for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Website Use

  • The content on our website, including text, photos, logos, and videos, belongs to Hot Diggity Dog Resort or is used with permission. Please don't copy it without our permission.
  • Do not misuse our website, try to access other people's accounts, or interfere with how it works.
  • Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its effective date, is the one that applies.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
