Policies

The house rules

These keep every dog safe and healthy. Thanks for reading them.

Vaccinations

Every dog must have these current through the last day of their visit:

Upload records in your account or have your vet email them to us. We verify every record before your first stay.

Health

Dogs should be free of fleas, ticks, coughing, and contagious illness. If your dog shows signs of illness while with us, we'll call you and your vet.

Reservations & deposits

A booking is a request until we confirm it. Where a deposit applies, it holds your reservation and is credited to your bill.

Cancellations

Please give us at least 48 hours' notice for boarding and 24 hours for grooming. Holiday reservations may have a longer cancellation window.

Drop-off & pickup

We're open Monday–Saturday, 6:30 am – 6:00 pm. We close at 6, so please pick up by 5:45 pm. On Sundays and holidays, daycare and grooming are closed; boarding check-in and check-out are by appointment only, at 10 am or 4 pm. Dogs can't be picked up outside those times.

Temperament assessment

Every new daycare and boarding guest starts with a Temperament Assessment: a full daycare day at the regular daycare rate. Please drop off by 10:00 am and pick up no earlier than 3:00 pm (you can still drop off as early as 6:30 or pick up at closing). It's needed again if it has been more than six months since your dog's last visit.

Spay and neuter

For daycare and boarding, dogs must be spayed or neutered before 8 months of age.

Breeds and behavior

Our insurance doesn't allow bully breeds in boarding or daycare; they're welcome for grooming and training. Dogs with a history of biting or aggression can't join daycare or boarding.

Holidays

Boarding stays over Thanksgiving and Christmas have a 3-night minimum. A holiday fee of $35.00 per dog applies to each 24-hour period that starts on a holiday (New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve). The grooming salon is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Food

Please bring your dog's own food, pre-portioned. If we have to supply food, it's $3 per day per dog.
