The policies that keep every dog safe — shots, the first-visit assessment, cancellations, holidays and more.
A few simple rules keep every dog safe and healthy. Here are the big ones. The full, always-current list is on our Policies page.
Shots have to be current
Every dog needs current vaccinations through the last day of its visit — for daycare, boarding, and grooming. Upload the records in your account, or have your vet email them to us. We check every record before the first visit.
New daycare and boarding dogs start with an assessment
Your dog's first daycare or boarding visit is a Temperament Assessment: one full daycare day so we can meet your dog and make sure the group is a good fit. Drop off by 10:00 am and pick up no earlier than 3:00 pm. If it has been more than six months since your dog's last visit, we do a quick one again.
Forms and the waiver
Before your first daycare or boarding stay, we need your Daycare Registration form and a signed Daycare & Boarding Waiver. For grooming, we need the Grooming Waiver. You can fill these out any time under Forms & waivers.
Breeds
Our insurance doesn't allow bully breeds for daycare or boarding. They are always welcome for grooming.
Spay and neuter
For daycare and boarding, dogs need to be spayed or neutered before 8 months of age.
Booking and deposits
A booking is a request until our front desk confirms it. You don't have to pay up front — though you can pay all or part of it if you'd like. Around the holidays we may ask for a deposit to hold the room.
Changes and cancellations
Plans change — just give us a little notice. We ask for at least 48 hours for boarding and 24 hours for grooming. Holiday reservations may need more.
Hours, drop-off and pickup
We're open Monday through Saturday, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. We close at 6, so please pick up by 5:45. On Sundays and holidays, daycare and grooming are closed; boarding check-in and check-out are by appointment only, at 10:00 am or 4:00 pm.
Food
Please bring your dog's own food, pre-portioned. If we run out and have to feed ours, it's $3 a day per dog.
